I love Christmas even though…

...when I was a little kid; the neighbors towards the entrance of our cul-de-sac would always put up enough lights and displays on their house so that you could see it from space. I wasn’t jealous, I enjoyed the display, and it was nice to meet different people that would come from miles around to see this house. But all that changed after one year when my dad had a heart attack and the ambulance couldn’t get through because of all the cars filled with people gazing at the house. Finally, the paramedics made it to the house, but just then, energy went out because of a power surge and it took them half an hour to make their way back to their ambulance for a flashlight so they could find him. In the end, my neighbor took down their lights and my dad made a full recovery (although he slipped on an Easter egg a few months later and broke his wrist) and was able to come home on new years morning.
*I'm sorry if this acctually happened to anyone
